Are you a qualified teacher seeking flexible and rewarding opportunities in local schools?

GSL Education are pleased to offer a rewarding position for Supply Teachers to work across schools in Totton. Starting ASAP, this flexible position offers a competitive daily rate of £120 to £150 depending on experience. You can select the days you wish to work, up to five days a week if preferred. Temporary long-term placements are also available when covering teachers on long-term sick leave, operation cover, or general gaps in teaching staff, providing both stability and flexibility.

As a Supply Teacher, it is essential for you to maintain continuity in the classroom by leading lessons, managing behaviour, and ensuring students complete work set by the regular teacher

Supply Teacher Responsibilities:

• Take full responsibility for delivering pre-prepared lessons, ensuring continuity of learning for all students
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to maintain a positive and productive environment
• Motivate and engage students of different ages and abilities, adapting teaching style as necessary
• Support students to complete classwork and homework set by the regular teacher
• Provide clear instructions and support to individuals and groups, helping to maximise student progress
• Communicate any concerns or feedback about student behaviour, progress, or wellbeing to school staff

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Supply Teacher in different school settings
• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• Excellent classroom management and adaptability across settings
• Ability to work flexibly across multiple schools
• Professional attitude with excellent communication skills
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one
• Flexible day-to-day and long-term teaching opportunities
