We are working with a number of Ofsted-rated Good and Outstanding secondary schools in the Tameside area who are seeking supply teachers across all subjects to cover day-to-day absences, short-term assignments, and potential long-term or permanent roles.
Start Date: September 2025
Location: Hyde, Ashton, Denton (Tameside)
Rate of Pay: £130 – £160 per day (depending on experience and assignment length)
Contract: Flexible day-to-day, short-term, and long-term roles available
Subjects: All subject specialisms welcomed
Deliver pre-planned lessons across Key Stage 3 and 4
Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour in line with school policy
Ensure students remain on task and make progress during teacher absence
Provide feedback to departments on student engagement and performance
Qualified Teachers (QTS/QTLS)
Teachers returning to the profession
ECTs looking to build experience across different school environments

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
