Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd, a leading education recruitment agency in the UK, is seeking reliable General Cover staff for a secondary school in Colchester, to start from September. You will cover KS3 and KS4, delivering pre-planned work across multiple subjects and maintaining a positive learning environment.

The role is temporary with on-site hours, paying £140–£190 per day. Successful candidates will join a supportive team and access CPD and referral benefits.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Colchester who are looking for reliable General Cover staff from September. The school is looking for confident and adaptable individuals who can build positive relationships with KS3 and KS4 students and maintain a productive classroom environment.

The school is looking to take on General Cover staff on temporary contracts, working across KS3 and KS4. The successful General Cover applicant will be expected to deliver pre-planned work across a range of subjects, manage classroom behaviour effectively and ensure students remain engaged with their learning.
