Job summary

TeacherActive Limited is working with a Colchester secondary school to recruit a confident Cover Supervisor for an immediate start. You will engage and motivate pupils across KS3 and KS4 and deliver pre-set work.

The successful candidate will manage classroom behaviour, report back to teaching staff after lessons, and support a range of subjects. Graduates, UQT/ECT/QTS welcomed. Competitive PAYE rates and CPD opportunities are offered.

Job Title: Cover Supervisor
Location: Colchester
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £120 - £180 per day

Are you a confident Cover Supervisor who can engage and motivate pupils across KS3 and KS4?

Do you have strong classroom management skills and the ability to deliver pre-set work effectively?

Are you a graduate, UQT, ECT or QTS teacher looking to gain further experience within a secondary school?

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school in Colchester that has been rated Good by Ofsted. This is an excellent opportunity for a Cover Supervisor to gain valuable experience supporting pupils across Key Stage 3 / KS3 and Key Stage 4 / KS4.

The school is looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor for an immediate start on a short-term contract. The successful Cover Supervisor will be responsible for delivering pre-set work, managing classroom behaviour, supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils and reporting back to teaching staff following lessons.

The successful Cover Supervisor will have:

• UQT, ECT or QTS status welcomed, with graduates also encouraged to apply
• Experience working with young people is desirable
• Strong classroom management skills
• Confidence delivering pre-set work across a range of subjects
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A flexible and positive approach to supporting pupils
