Job summary

Academics is seeking a Supply Teacher to step into a variety of classrooms, delivering pre-planned lessons and supporting students' progress in Bradford and surrounding areas.

You will collaborate with teachers and school staff to maintain a positive learning environment, manage behaviour, supervise breaks, and assess student work using a range of materials, including digital resources.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-planned lessons to keep students on track with their learning.
• Create an engaging classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation.
• Manage behaviour to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Collaborate with Lead Teachers, Assistant Teachers, and School Administrators to uphold policies and student well-being.
• Supervise students in the classroom and during break times and other activities.
• Administer tests and assignments, ensuring work is collected and organised.
• Utilise textbooks and digital resources to enhance the learning experience.
