Flexible work- Supply Teacher – Basingstoke, Hampshire

Are you an experienced educator seeking a flexible and rewarding teaching opportunity?

GSL Education are delighted to offer an excellent opportunity for Supply Teachers to work across schools in Basingstoke. Starting ASAP, this flexible position offers a competitive daily rate of £120 to £150, depending on experience. You can choose the days you wish to work, up to five days a week if preferred. Temporary long-term placements are also available when covering teachers on long-term sick leave, operation cover, or general gaps in teaching staff.

What you have to do as a Supply Teacher:

• Deliver lessons according to the provided plans, ensuring all students remain engaged and on task
• Maintain a calm and orderly classroom environment that supports learning and positive behaviour
• Support students across different subjects and year groups to complete their work successfully
• Quickly adapt to varying classroom settings, student needs, and school routines
• Monitor student progress and behaviour, reporting any significant issues to school staff promptly
• Follow all school policies, including safeguarding and health and safety requirements

What we need:

• Prior experience working as a Supply Teacher across the UK schools.
• Fully Qualified Teacher Status (UK QTS required)
• Excellent classroom management and adaptability across settings
• A positive, proactive attitude and the ability to inspire students
• Strong interpersonal skills and professional conduct
• Have an updated CV and an enhanced DBS registered on the update service or be willing to apply for one
