Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work that fits around your lifestyle?

We are currently recruiting enthusiastic, caring and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a daily supply basis across Woking and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced TAs who want to gain experience across a range of schools and settings, as well as for those looking for a flexible alternative to a permanent position.

The Role

As a daily supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you could be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including autism, ADHD, communication and interaction needs, learning difficulties and SEMH.

Depending on the school and pupil requirements, your day may involve:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 or small-group basis.
• Assisting with learning and classroom activities.
• Supporting pupils with additional and complex needs.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and emotional regulation.
• Helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills.
• Working alongside teachers and SENCOs to provide consistent support.
• Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment.

We're Looking For

We'd love to hear from you if you are:

• An experienced SEN Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or similar.
• Patient, compassionate and understanding.
• Confident supporting children with additional needs.
• Reliable and adaptable.
• Able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Comfortable working across different schools and environments.
• Passionate about making a difference to children's education and development.
• Relevant SEN experience is highly desirable, although we are also interested in hearing from candidates with transferable experience from care, youth work, support work or similar backgrounds.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
