Job summary

CER is seeking a reliable Supply Science Teacher to work in our partner secondary schools in Barnsley. You will deliver engaging KS3/KS4 science lessons, adapt quickly to different school settings, and maintain high standards of classroom management.

This flexible role supports day-to-day, short-term and long-term assignments with September start. Suitable candidates hold QTS or equivalent, have UK secondary school experience, and hold an enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one).

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Science within UK secondary schools.
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
• Passionate, adaptable and professional approach to teaching.

Responsibilities

The Role:

As a Supply Science Teacher, you will:

We Are Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Experience teaching Science within UK secondary schools
• A passionate, adaptable, and professional approach to teaching
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• An enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
• A genuine commitment to supporting young people's education
