Purpose of the Role

The BU Supply Planning team is part of the GB Planning Department, which includes Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Scheduling, and Deployment.

The core purpose of this role is to align with the mid-term plan alongside the MTW team and ensure that the execution of the supply plan achieves targeted service levels, inventory management, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the coordination of detailed/short-term plans, ensuring compliance with planning parameters and making service/cost trade-off decisions when deviations occur.
  • Align the short-term plan with the mid-term team, including commercialization projects, planning parameters, and sourcing decisions to optimize the plan.
  • Monitor production and sales alerts daily to coordinate mitigation actions with schedulers and deployment planners.
  • Monitor and report on executional performance, including service levels, costs, and manufacturing performance, incorporating root cause analysis and action planning for future improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams through weekly S&OE routines, escalating risks and opportunities as needed.
Skills & Essentials
  • Proven track record in supply chain planning.
  • Previous experience in production planning.
  • Experience in FMCG environment preferred.
  • Wider cross-functional experience such as commercial, finance, or supply chain roles is advantageous.
  • Ability to see the bigger picture with a holistic view.
  • Continuous improvement mindset aimed at enhancing total supply chain cost and customer service.
  • Excellence in execution—managing expected and unexpected changes efficiently under time constraints.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining an end-to-end planning perspective.
  • Interpersonal and teamwork skills to establish and maintain professional relationships.
