About the role

We are recruiting for a Supply Planner Promotions role at our head office in Hemel Hempstead and Equity House, Wellingborough. The role offers hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 remote days after induction.

The main responsibility is managing the end-to-end planning and flow of stock for promotional activities into our distribution network, ensuring timely delivery to branches and customers.

You will be responsible for

• Ensuring maximum stock availability during promotional activities.
• Adhering to critical timescales and escalating issues appropriately.
• Managing stock flow from distribution centers to branches and customers.
• Loading and releasing allocations accurately.
• Identifying causes of stock availability issues and communicating key issues clearly.
• Analyzing data, producing reports, and providing recommendations.
• Responding to queries and supporting seasonal events and clearance activities.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage trading activities.
• Ensuring compliance with GSCOP timelines and our Business Code of Conduct.

You will need

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems.
• Strong attention to detail, report writing, data interpretation, and record keeping.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and analytical ability.
• Knowledge of relevant markets and market developments.
• Flexibility in work approach and quick learner of new technical skills.
• Relevant experience, ideally in FMG, but not essential.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
• Experience working with large data sets and advanced Excel skills.
