About the role
We are recruiting for a Supply Planner Promotions role at our head office in Hemel Hempstead and Equity House, Wellingborough. The role offers hybrid working: 3 days in the office and 2 remote days after induction.
The main responsibility is managing the end-to-end planning and flow of stock for promotional activities into our distribution network, ensuring timely delivery to branches and customers.
You will be responsible for
- Ensuring maximum stock availability during promotional activities.
- Adhering to critical timescales and escalating issues appropriately.
- Managing stock flow from distribution centers to branches and customers.
- Loading and releasing allocations accurately.
- Identifying causes of stock availability issues and communicating key issues clearly.
- Analyzing data, producing reports, and providing recommendations.
- Responding to queries and supporting seasonal events and clearance activities.
- Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to manage trading activities.
- Ensuring compliance with GSCOP timelines and our Business Code of Conduct.
You will need
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems.
- Strong attention to detail, report writing, data interpretation, and record keeping.
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and analytical ability.
- Knowledge of relevant markets and market developments.
- Flexibility in work approach and quick learner of new technical skills.
- Relevant experience, ideally in FMG, but not essential.
- Proven ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Experience working with large data sets and advanced Excel skills.
