Job summary

Morgan Ryder Associates is seeking an experienced Supply Planner to manage purchasing, supplier relationships and stock availability across a key product category. The role ensures on-time purchase and delivery, optimised stock levels and high customer service.

You will forecast demand, manage supplier lead times, coordinate with freight, and contribute to cost-saving initiatives while collaborating with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing and purchase orders in line with demand and forecasts.

• Manage supplier relationships, including Far Eastern suppliers.
• Coordinate container bookings and liaise with freight forwarders.
• Monitor supplier lead times, deliveries and potential supply issues.
• Work with Marketing on new product forecasting and launches.
• Support product re-sourcing and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Contribute to improving purchasing and supply-chain processes.

An established and growing manufacturing and distribution business is looking for an experienced Supply Planner to manage purchasing, supplier relationships and stock availability across a key product category.

This is a role with responsibility for ensuring products are purchased and delivered on time, stock levels are optimised and customer service levels are maintained.

Key Responsibilities as Supply Planner

• Manage purchasing and purchase orders in line with demand and forecasts.

• Manage relationships with suppliers, including Far Eastern suppliers.
• Coordinate container bookings and liaise with freight forwarders.
