Job summary

Howdens Joinery is looking for a Supply Planner on a 12-month fixed-term contract to help ensure finished goods are available across our nationwide depot network. You’ll work with Planning Managers and colleagues across Commercial, Quality and Logistics to balance service, stock and cost while maintaining inventory levels.

This role focuses on our finished goods portfolio, with opportunities to develop within a dynamic supply chain and travel as needed.

Working closely with Planning Managers and colleagues across Commercial, Quality and Logistics, you'll help ensure products are available when and where they're needed.Key responsibilities include:Managing inventory and supply plans for finished goods across a large product portfolio.Building strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable product availability.Monitoring sales demand and responding to changing business requirements.Working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to balance service, stock and cost objectives.Identifying opportunities to improve supply chain performance and supplier flexibility.Supporting business growth by maintaining inventory levels across a complex and fast-moving supply network.You'll join a supportive team of 35 Supply Chain and Logistics professionals, where knowledge sharing, development and continuous improvement are part of everyday life.What we're looking forWe're open to candidates at different stages of their career. You may already be working in supply planning, inventory management or a similar role and be ready to hit the ground running.
