Supply Officer

We are seeking a highly analytical and proactive Supply Officer/Procurement Buyer to support our supply chain operations and risk management initiatives. The ideal candidate will be responsible for forecast analysis, problem resolution, and action plan management, ensuring seamless operations across the supply chain. Working closely with stakeholders, you will manage risks and opportunities while leveraging Airbus-specific tools and technologies. Hiring for two locations, ie Prestwick (Scotland) and Belfast (Northern Ireland).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed forecast analysis to predict demand fluctuations and align with business objectives.
  • Identify risks and opportunities, developing mitigation plans to maintain operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to align forecasting models with real-time data.
  • Develop and implement action plans to address supply chain challenges proactively.
  • Lead problem resolution efforts by investigating issues, providing recommendations, and ensuring corrective actions.
  • Monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed to optimise performance.
  • Utilise Google Sheets, SAP, and Airbus tools (Air Supply Connect, BW) for data-driven decision-making.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and dashboards to present key findings in a clear and synthesised manner.
  • Ensure accuracy and consistency in reporting across platforms.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance collaboration.
  • Act as a bridge between departments, ensuring smooth communication and alignment on objectives.
  • Communicate effectively in English to liaise with international teams.
  • Ensure adherence to Airbus Standard Operating Procedures (SO) and compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Uphold righteousness and integrity in all decision-making processes.
  • Provide insights into Airbus-specific tools and best practices to drive continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Strong expertise in forecast analysis, risk management, and problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Google Sheets, Air Supply Connect, and BW.
  • Ability to develop and manage action plans effectively.
  • Excellent analytical and synthesis skills, with attention to detail.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Airbus SO (Standard Operating Procedures) is a plus.
