Job Opportunity: Music Teacher

Are you a passionate Music Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities in secondary schools within Stoke-on-Trent & Staffordshire?

Academics is actively seeking enthusiastic and experienced Music Teachers interested in short-term supply or long-term roles starting from September 2025. Whether you're seeking week-by-week supply or a long-term contract, we tailor opportunities to fit your preferences.

Our roles are ideal for Music Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers alike, offering flexibility and potential pathways to permanent positions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hold a relevant Music qualification (PGCE, B.Ed., or BSc Hons) and UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS)
• Familiarity with the National Curriculum and Music programmes of study
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills, with excellent subject knowledge
• Ability to inspire positive learning attitudes and adapt quickly to new environments
• Current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service or willingness to apply through us (cost applies)

Your daily rate will depend on your experience, qualifications, the role's duration, and current client rates.
