Job Title: Supply Flexible Teacher
Location: Winchester, Hampshire
Salary: £100 - £130 per day (Depending on experience)
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-Time

GSL Education are looking to hire a Supply Flexible Teacher to support a secondary school in Winchester from September. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys teaching different subjects and working with new groups of students each day.

As a Supply Flexible Teacher, you will cover classes when teachers are away and help make sure students continue learning in a calm and focused setting. All lesson plans will be provided, and your main job is to guide the class and manage behaviour.

Main Duties:

• Take over classes when teachers are not available.
• Teach lessons using the school’s prepared plans.
• Make sure students are learning and staying on task.
• Keep the classroom safe, respectful and well-managed.
• Work with other staff to support the school’s daily routine

What You Need:

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or similar recognised qualification.
• Previous experience in a secondary school is an advantage.
• Strong communication and classroom control skills.
• A positive attitude and the ability to work in different subjects.
• Experienced teachers who are seeking a more flexible work-life balance are welcome to apply.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply for one through GSL Education
