Are you a dedicated and adaptable individual looking for varied and rewarding opportunities to support young learners across different primary schools in the Blackpool area?

Tradewind recruitment are in partnership with a network of welcoming primary schools in Blackpool and surrounding areas. We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Supply Classroom Support Assistants to join our team for long-term temporary contracts commencing in September 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain diverse experience working within different school environments, supporting teachers and pupils across various age groups and learning needs. You will play a vital role in providing essential support to enhance the learning experience and contribute to positive and inclusive classroom environments. Contracts will differ in length and hours but as a minimum will last 12 - 24 weeks of term time work, offering full and part time hours. Pay will be a minimum of £13.68 - £15 per hour based on the role responsibilities.

As a Supply Classroom Support Assistant, your responsibilities may include:

• Providing flexible support to individual students or small groups with their learning activities, under the guidance of the class teacher in different school settings.
• Helping to prepare classroom resources and materials as needed by different schools.
• Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in various contexts.
• Providing general support to teachers in managing the classroom and ensuring a safe and positive learning environment across different schools.
• Supporting students with their social, emotional, and behavioural development in various contexts.
• Being adaptable to the specific needs and routines of each school you are placed in.

We are looking for someone who:

• Experience working with children in an educational setting is highly desirable.
• A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) is advantageous.
• Demonstrates a professional and reliable approach to work.
• Is willing to travel to different primary schools within the Blackpool area.
