Supply Chain Specialist / Procurement Officer who is looking for a fresh challenge and make a real difference within this well-established and leading manufacturing firm based in Mobberley, Cheshire, North West England.
ALL INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE CONSIDERED
If you have previous supply chain / procurement / purchasing experience within a manufacturing environment, then great. If not, but you still have the supply chain / procurement / purchasing experience, but in a different type of industry, then that’s fine too as the company is looking for someone to review the current processes with a fresh pair of eyes, make recommendations to enhance current practices and share new ideas with the team.
SALARY: £37,187 per annum + Benefits
LOCATION: Mobberley, Cheshire, North West England (WA16)
JOB TYPE: Full-Time, Permanent
WORKING HOURS: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Build and bank flexi hours)

This is a great opportunity for someone who is experienced in both planning and supply chain as this role is fundamental in ensuring the company’s range of products get to their customers on time and in full. Working as the Supply Chain Specialist / Procurement Officer you’ll utilise, update and maintain the ERP system to ensure accuracy, and you’ll liaise with internal and external stakeholders to support this. You’ll be part of a small team of 5, but a perfectly formed team who between them have lots of knowledge to share and a willingness to learn – they’re looking forward to having a fresh pair of eyes and new ideas on their team.
Working as the Supply Chain Specialist / Procurement Officer you will optimise capacity to provide excellent levels of customer service and make sure the company has the right product at the right time, providing a forward view of what is needed. Forecasting won’t be a huge part of this role, but you’ll support your line manager in gathering and sorting this data.
As the Supply Chain Specialist / Procurement Officer you’ll also purchase raw materials (such as boxes and labels) to support production, and you’ll track and report KPIs – the company is keen on identifying improvements and becoming more efficient. As well as raw materials, you’ll frequently work with suppliers to ensure a consistent stream of externally sourced finished products, and work with internal stakeholders to assess product viability and shelf life.
