Job summary

Our Client in the UK is seeking a proactive Supply Chain Assistant to support the Supply Chain Manager in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You will handle purchasing, stock control, supplier coordination, and inventory accuracy to ensure production and customer demand is met.

Responsibilities

• Raise, place, and track purchase orders for goods and services.
• Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Assist in supplier sourcing, quotes, and cost information updates.
• Monitor supplier performance including quality, service and pricing.
• Maintain supplier records and onboard new suppliers.
• Process goods in/out and manage stock adjustments in TROPOS.
• Conduct stock checks and reconcile inventory accurately.
• Support stock levels and replenishment to meet production demand.
• Reconcile delivery notes and invoices to ensure data integrity.
