Job description

Contract length: 21 weeks, through to end of March (extension possible)

Location: Slough

Start date: Ideally mid-November

Role Overview

Randstad Sourceright, a leading provider of RPO & MSP Recruitment Services is currently seeking an experienced project manager to lead the UK market readiness and post go-live support for a major new EU supply chain regulation (EU Deforestation Regulation, EUDR), which comes into effect on 1 January. The process, vendor system and core project team are already in place. This role is about implementation, stakeholder readiness and governance, not designing a process from scratch. After go-live, you will be the focal point for aftercare, manual workarounds and escalations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project manage the UK market elements of EUDR readiness through to the 31 December readiness deadline
  • Work with the logistics (cross-segment) team and other stakeholders to confirm they understand their role, have the system access they need, and are prepared for the first round
  • Deliver training and onboarding for stakeholders on the agreed ways of working
  • Confirm accountabilities across the process (who owns what) and keep stakeholders informed of what is coming
  • After go-live, govern the aftercare: provide daily and weekly summary updates, track issues and manage escalations
  • Support manual workarounds in the early weeks and make required help visible to leadership
  • Work with the EUDR traceability tool (OSapiens) alongside the IT and project teams
Essential Skills and Experience

Project management: a track record of taking a plan, implementing it and running the follow-up, ideally on cross-functional projects

Stakeholder management: confident engaging, training and onboarding colleagues across functions, and handling escalations

Supply chain experience: understanding of complex supply chains, logistics and order (PO) flows

A process-oriented approach, comfortable setting up reporting cadences and clear accountabilities
