Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Supply Chain & Production Planner for a food/FMCG site in Nottinghamshire. You will produce daily production plans, monitor performance against KPIs and coordinate with all departments to maintain accurate stock levels.

Reporting to the Planning Manager, you will conduct stock checks, place orders, expediting where needed, and support continuous improvement, waste reduction and cost-focused planning.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a planning role
• Strong attention to detail, excellent communication & problem-solving and leadership skills
• Full driving license & transport due to location of the sites

Reporting directly to the Planning Manager, this position is responsible for delivering key performance indicators, managing EDI order flows, and maintaining optimal stock levels.

The role includes producing production plans, providing cover for the Planning Manager, and ensuring seamless communication across departments. With a strong focus on continuous improvement, waste reduction, costing and team development, the Planner also oversees stock management, reporting, and supports additional project work in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
