Job summary

CT19 is seeking a hands-on Supply Chain Planner for Consumables in Oxford. The role focuses on demand and supply planning, inventory management and material availability across products with complex BOMs and multiple stages, involving external suppliers and contract manufacturing partners.

Qualifications

3+ years' experience in supply chain planning or similar role
Experience in manufacturing, life sciences, GMP, medical devices or regulated environment
Experience with SIOP / S&OP / IBP planning processes
Experience planning products with complex BOMs
Experience coordinating multi-stage manufacturing with external suppliers or contract manufacturers
Strong understanding of requester lead times, shortages, capacity constraints and material availability
Strong analytical skills with planning data
Cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Quality, R&D, Sales
Experience with GMP-controlled manufacturing environments
Experience in consumables, cartridges, diagnostic or high-volume products

Responsibilities

SIOP / S&OP / IBP planning across the Consumables portfolio
Develop and maintain demand and supply plans
Translate demand into material, inventory, supplier and capacity plans
Plan products with complex multi-level BOMs
Coordinate supply across multi-stage manufacturing with external suppliers/contract manufacturers
Identify material shortages, capacity constraints and supplier risks
Develop mitigation and recovery plans for supply constraints
Maintain ERP / MRP planning parameters
Balance product availability with inventory and working capital
Support NPI, scale-up or product transfer activities
Raise and manage purchase orders
Monitor supplier delivery performance and resolve shortages
Coordinate production schedules across multiple suppliers
Manage batch, shelf-life, expiry requirements with QA/Warehouse
Escalate significant supplier or supply risk
Support supplier discussions on pricing and terms
Maintain inventory levels and cycle counts
Investigate inventory discrepancies
Identify opportunities to reduce excess inventory
