Job summary

Midas is seeking an experienced Supply Planner to ensure product availability and optimize stock while coordinating with Procurement, Operations, Logistics and Sales. The role offers a clear path to lead the Supply Planning function within the next year.

You will work in a food/FMCG environment, with office-based hours 8am–5pm Mon–Thu and Friday WFH after probation, in Reigate, United Kingdom.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in Supply or Supply Chain Planning within the Food, FMCG, Manufacturing or Consumer Goods sectors.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of stock management and supplier lead times.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
  • Proactive and problem-solving approach.
  • Ambition to progress into a leadership role.

Responsibilities

  • Manage supply plans and product availability.
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and Procurement to manage lead times and issues.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Commercial to align demand and forecasts.
  • Control inventory levels and reduce excess or slow-moving stock.
  • Identify supply risks and implement practical solutions.
  • Analyse planning data and provide clear information to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Logistics and other departments to ensure delivery of plans.
  • Identify opportunities to improve planning processes and ways of working.
  • Progress to lead the Supply Planning function within 12 months.

Salary: £30k - £40k, discretionary annual bonus

We are recruiting for an ambitious and growing business within the food and FMCG sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Supply Planner or Supply Chain professional who is ready to take on more responsibility and progress into a leadership role.

The successful candidate will join the Supply Planning team with the opportunity to step up and lead the department within the next 12 months.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the right products are available at the right time while managing stock levels and supply risks.

You will work closely with Procurement, Operations, Logistics, Sales and Commercial teams to ensure customer demand is met and supply plans are delivered effectively.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage supply plans and product availability.

About You

We are looking for someone with experience in Supply Planning, Supply Chain or Inventory Planning, ideally within:

  • Food
  • FMCG
  • Manufacturing
  • Consumer Goods

You will have:

  • Previous experience in Supply or Supply Chain Planning within the above industries
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of stock management and supplier lead times.
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills.
