Supply Chain Planner - Up to £32,000 - Permanent

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm - Leicester

Macildowie Supply Chain is delighted to have partnered with a growing and reputable manufacturing business to recruit a Supply Chain Planner. The key objective is to support and deliver supply chain objectives, including supply planning, procurement, and co-packing, to meet stock holding targets.

Main Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure orders are shipped correctly and on time, achieving 99% stock availability.
• Partner with fellow Supply Chain Planners and Coordinators to procure, transfer, and produce according to plan, aligned with co-manufacturing schedules.
• Collaborate with third-party co-packing sites to monitor plans and output, ensuring stock holding targets are met.
• Manage planning and ordering processes, ensuring minimum order quantities, stock levels, and delivery dates are achieved.
• Monitor stock levels and planning cycles within your portfolio, working with the wider business to avoid residual inventory.
• Track and review supplier performance regularly.
• Check outstanding orders, ensuring all are updated and no overdue orders exist.

The Candidate

• Ability to build effective working relationships internally and externally.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience in operations planning and coordination.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in Supply and/or Demand Planning within a Supply Chain or Inventory Management role is desirable.
