Job description

About the role:

We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for a pharmacist to join our Regional Dispensing Hub in Basingstoke. As our Supply Chain Pharmacist, you will be a critical part of our new project aimed at enabling growth through central fill innovation. Your knowledge and experience will lead the day-to-day clinical operations.

Main responsibilities include:
  1. Delivering daily clinical operations and services to our stores.
  2. Leading a safety-first culture to ensure patient safety and compliance with health and safety standards.
  3. Initiating and implementing continuous improvements by establishing new procedures and evolving operations for our pharmacy stores.
  4. Leading clinical aspects of production shifts and supporting site colleagues to complete tasks accurately and within timeframes.
  5. Supervising and training colleagues.
  6. Collaborating as part of the RDH leadership team to support end-to-end performance.
Qualifications and skills needed:
  1. GPhC Registered practicing pharmacist with extensive post-registration experience in community pharmacy.
  2. Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
  3. Strong technical and IT skills.
  4. Background in distribution and supply chain, preferably in pharmacy logistics (advantageous).
  5. Adaptability to evolving roles and responsibilities.
  6. Motivated to drive continuous improvements and demonstrate leadership capabilities.
