Job summary

Cast UK Limited is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimise regional supply chain operations. The role focuses on materials planning, procurement, and inventory management across Midlands locations with potential expansion to international sites.

You will manage a team of Buyer/Planners, ensure inventory availability, accurate forecasting, and strong supplier relationships while driving cost control and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong knowledge of ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Experience in multinational or multi-site operations preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop regional Planning teams supporting customer accounts.
  • Maintain inventory levels aligned with forecasts and plans.
  • Analyse forecasts and schedules to ensure supply continuity.
  • Ensure data accuracy in ERP systems and reporting.
  • Support cost control and planning to meet margins.
  • Build strong supplier relationships and support negotiations.
  • Monitor KPIs and identify efficiency improvements.
  • Support on-time delivery reporting and corrective actions.
  • Analyse inventory performance including excess/end-of-life stock.
  • Drive continuous improvement to reduce costs across the supply chain.

Role Profile

We are seeking an experienced and driven Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimise supply chain operations across multiple regional locations. This is a key leadership opportunity for a strategic and analytical professional with a strong background in materials planning, procurement, and inventory management.

You will lead a team of Buyer/Planners, ensuring inventory availability, efficient forecasting, and smooth operational performance across our branch network. Initially focused on Midlands locations, the role is expected to expand to support international sites.

This position plays a vital role in driving operational efficiency, improving supply chain performance, and supporting customer satisfaction through effective planning and supplier management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop regional Planning teams, ensuring the right resources support each customer account.
  • Maintain inventory levels aligned with business plans and forecast requirements.
  • Analyse forecasts and customer schedules to ensure timely action and supply continuity.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within ERP systems.
  • Support operational margin objectives through effective cost control and planning.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and support contract negotiations.
  • Monitor supply chain KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support On-Time Delivery reporting, analysis, and corrective actions for major customers.
  • Analyse inventory performance, including excess and end-of-life stock management.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs across the supply chain.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Experience working within multinational or multi-site operations preferred
