About the jobWe are seeking an experienced
Supply Chain Manager for an
office based role in Steyning, own transport is required due to location. The purpose of the role is to
manage product supply and planning within the commercial team. The team is responsible for managing stock and maximising sales alongside working with the product team to ensure cutting edge development. The role involves
managing supplier relationships and inventory,
creating purchase orders, shipments and delivery schedules, supporting teams with stock information and the production of reporting to support trading decision making.
Day to Day responsibilities Include:
- Managing shipping and ordering, along with leading on the reporting of lead times, supplier performance, delivery schedules and freight forwarding costs.
- Updating daily, weekly and ad hoc trading and stock reports to make recommendations to maximise sales.
- Regular communication and management of suppliers to keep product supply on schedule.
- Maintaining pricing
- Raising purchase orders
- Accurate management of the stock delivery schedule
- Booking and management of shipments with third-party freight and logistics providers.
- Responsible for the maintenance of the product file
- Supporting the Commercial Director with analysis.
