Job summary

STRABAG UK is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join the procurement team on the HARP Project. You will be the day-to-day focal point for all supply chain activity, leading planning, managing and coordinating tasks to deliver the project strategy.

You will own supplier performance management, drive best-value solutions, and collaborate with clients, partners and internal teams. A degree and CSCS card are required, with a proven delivery track record in complex projects.

Qualifications

• Educated to a degree or equivalent level in a relevant background.
• Proven track record of delivery as a Supply Chain Manager.
• Good knowledge and practical experience in supplier relationships.
• Excellent attention to detail in a busy environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as the day-to-day focal point for all supply chain activity within STRABAG UK.
• Lead planning, managing, supervising, and coordinating supply chain tasks.
• Deliver project procurement and supply chain strategy for best value.
• Own supplier performance management, including rollout and reporting.
• Support delivery of project sustainability and supply chain dependencies.
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients, partners and team members.
• Collaborate across functions to align with stakeholders and mitigate issues.
• Provide timely information to stakeholders and monitor satisfaction.

Your contribution to our company

• Act as the day-to-day focal point for all supply chain related activity within STRABAG UK.


• Lead on a wide variety of tasks related to planning, managing, supervising, facilitating and coordinating supply chain management related activities.


• Deliver STRABAG’s project procurement and supply chain strategy, driving best value solutions for the project, and our clients.


• Owning the supplier performance management process within the STRABAG UK project including, but not limited to, roll out of the process, ensuring timely reports are received, facilitating performance.


• Support delivery of STRABAG’s project sustainability strategy and supply chain dependencies.


• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners and team members for the project.


• Demonstrate a high level of self-awareness and emotional intelligence in interactions with stakeholders and colleagues.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and communication with stakeholders.


• Proactively identify and mitigate potential issues or conflicts with stakeholders.


• Provide accurate and timely information to stakeholders, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.


• Monitor stakeholder feedback and satisfaction, striving for continuous improvement in stakeholder relations.


• Arranging and leading supply chain forums for the project.


• Support the supply chain audit process.


• Monitor and measure the supply chain risk for the project, with strategies in place for key packages where appropriate.


• Additional responsibilities specific to your project, organisation or industry.


• Alignment to the STRABAG UK Senior Supply Chain manager and related objectives and deliverables.
