Vacancy: Supply Chain Manager

Location: Brimsdown, UK

As the supply chain manager, you will report to the Site Manager. You will be responsible for setting and delivering all planning and metal control activities, delivering outstanding customer service, optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing working capital, and driving business improvements and change.

Platinum Group Metal Services (PGMS) is one of four businesses within the Efficient Natural Resources sector, managing, distributing, refining, recycling precious metals, and fabricating products using these materials. PGMS operates manufacturing facilities in the UK, US, and China, serving key markets globally.

Your Responsibilities:

1. EHS: Support EHS principles to ensure safety and good practices.
2. Planning and Material Control: Lead production and material control teams, manage S&OE plans, and ensure resource planning aligns with business objectives.
3. Receiving, Warehouse & Shipping: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for shipments and storage, and manage logistics to meet schedules.
4. Systems: Develop IT skills within the team, improve production control processes, and participate in ERP system development.
5. People: Lead and develop the supply chain team, enhancing efficiency and scope of responsibilities.
