Plan, schedule, and execute procurement, production planning, dispatch, and export activities such as inbound materials planning and production scheduling. Manage import/export activities according to standards and customer requirements. Oversee the full SCM process from end to end, including raw materials management, production capacity planning, warehouse storage of finished goods, and on-time delivery to customers.

Principle Accountabilities

Duties, Responsibilities, and Key Tasks

Health and Safety

Contribute to maintaining a safe working environment within Operations, ensuring compliance with safe systems of work, procedures, and statutory regulations. Report accidents and incidents, investigate root causes, and take appropriate actions to prevent recurrence.

Quality

Ensure that appropriate planning procedures and work instructions are in place and followed. Identify opportunities to improve the quality and effectiveness of the planning process, and liaise with colleagues (Operations team and cross-functional) to implement improvements.

People

Perform production planning and control activities such as capacity planning, order scheduling, order release, and sequencing according to demand and production plans. Liaise with manufacturing, engineering, sales, and purchasing teams to resolve issues and conflicts. Manage customer orders and service, including transport, dispatch, freight management, customs clearance, and packaging, according to standards. Coordinate with sales and marketing to establish customer requirements and ensure these are reflected in the Operations Plan.

Operations

Plan and implement investments in supply chain equipment (forklifts, warehouses). Manage inventory and warehouse operations for raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods, monitoring inventory levels. Oversee external logistics partners and manage master data parameters. Monitor supply chain performance, identify improvements, and implement process enhancements. Develop and implement internal supply chain standards and continuous improvement initiatives using CBS methods.

Qualifications

Experience Required

Minimum of 1 year planning/scheduling experience in a high-value batch manufacturing environment. Minimum of 3 years planning/production control experience in a similar setting.

Knowledge Required

Understanding of DOM products and processes and their interactions. Knowledge of site safety systems, permit-to-work procedures, and company policies.

Qualifications / Skills Required

Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject. Good communication, problem-solving, analytical, planning, and organizational skills. Self-motivated with a drive for results and continuous improvement. Ability to motivate and lead teams. Demonstrates personal effectiveness, integrity, and judgment.
