Job Description
Position Summary
Main job functions include planning, scheduling, and executing procurement, production planning, dispatch, and export activities. This involves inbound materials planning, production scheduling, import/export compliance, and managing the entire supply chain process from end to end. Responsibilities also include managing raw materials, production requirements, capacity, warehouse storage of finished goods, and ensuring on-time delivery to customers.
Principle Accountabilities
Duties, Responsibilities and Key Tasks
Health and Safety
- Maintain a safe working environment and ensure compliance with safety procedures and regulations.
- Report and investigate accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions.
Quality
- Ensure planning procedures and work instructions are followed.
- Identify opportunities for quality improvements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement them.
People
- Perform production planning and control, including capacity planning and order scheduling.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, engineering, sales, and purchasing to resolve issues and conflicts.
Sales
- Manage delivery, freight, customs clearance, and packaging according to standards.
- Handle customer orders and service issues, liaising with sales and marketing to align on customer requirements.
Operations
- Plan and implement investments in supply chain equipment.
- Manage inventory and warehouse operations, including external logistics partners.
- Control master data parameters and monitor supply chain performance, driving continuous improvements.
Qualifications
Experience Required
- At least 1 year of planning/scheduling experience in a high-value batch manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years of planning/production control experience in a similar environment.
Knowledge Required
- Understanding of DOM products, processes, and their interactions.
- Knowledge of site safety systems and company policies.
Qualifications / Skills
- Degree or equivalent in a relevant subject.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
- Strong problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with a drive for continuous improvement.
- Leadership ability and personal integrity.
