Job summary

Search Recruitment Group is recruiting a Supply Chain Manager to join its Procurement and Supply Chain team in London. You will support a diverse range of clients across defence, utilities, healthcare, infrastructure and the public sector, delivering supply chain improvements and procurement solutions.

The role requires experience with complex supply chains and supplier networks, consultancy or client-facing work, and a CIPS qualification (or working towards it).

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain management, procurement, logistics, or operations.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with defence, utilities, healthcare, infrastructure, or public sector organisations.
• Consultancy or client-facing experience.
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and supplier governance.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.
• 5+ years of supply chain experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver supply chain and procurement support across multiple client projects.
• Analyse existing supply chain operations to identify improvements and cost savings.
• Develop sourcing, supplier management, and supply chain strategies.
• Lead supplier engagement, performance reviews, and relationship management.
• Support procurement and tendering exercises, including market analysis.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Produce reports, business cases, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Support clients through supply chain transformation and change initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client teams and external suppliers.
