Key responsibilities and duties:
  1. Setting and testing clear guidelines to establish a safe environment for the team to operate within.
  2. Communication and development of the Supply Chain quality management system (QMS).
  3. Ensuring fit-for-purpose Stock Taking activities to maintain stock accuracy and cover minimum annual stock coverage requirements.
  4. Maintain and develop systems to manage supply escalations and AOG spares in line with the constantly changing operational requirements.
  5. Management of timely reverse Supply Chain to return unserviceable assets from in-work projects.
  6. Management of systems to remove overdues, cancellations or changes to purchase orders to keep the Orderbook current and correct.
  7. Accuracy of MJDI Accounting
  8. Routine analysis and actioning of aged inventory and setting of target stock levels to maximise stock efficiency.
  9. Maintain and enhance customer relationship and communication plan with internal stakeholders.
  10. Deployment and coaching of data analysis to promote CI and forecast emerging issues.
  11. Maintain reliable supplier relations both internally and externally.
  12. Research and monitor market trends, emerging technology and regulatory changes.
  13. Development of the approved supplier portfolio to increase agility and reduce costs for our customer.
  14. Ensure system compliance to industry and market regulations and lead the enterprise to get ahead of changes as they emerge.
  15. Project manage closing and/or incoming programmes to the customer’s statement of work.
  16. Sponsor development of your direct reports and champion development of everyone within the function and the business unit where appropriate.
  17. Establishing clear objectives for all roles and maximising development through annual performance cycles.
  18. Support a climate of continuous improvement to assist Safety, Productivity, Quality, and to create a leaner environment.
  19. Be an activist for the StandardAero value, mission, and vision.
  20. Maintain commercial rigor in a tri-party environment (Supplier-Customers).
Desirable Experience:
  • Experience of Chinook TLCS contract
  • Military or Aviation supply experience
  • Civil or Military Maintenance and Repair Organisation (Part 145)
  • DLOC/ILOC experience
