Job summary

The Estee Lauder Companies Inc. is seeking a Senior Director Supply Chain Lead to shape and lead the UK and Ireland supply chain strategy, connecting brands, functions and external partners to improve service and performance.

You will build an integrated function, sponsor the integrated business planning process and balance demand and supply to maximise sales and profitability. This role requires a senior leader with deep experience in demand, supply, inventory and cross-functional execution,

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading end-to-end supply chain in a fast-paced, complex organisation.
• Experience in consumer, beauty, luxury, retail or FMCG is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of integrated business planning, demand planning and inventory management.
• Proven track record of supply chain transformation and cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the UK & Ireland supply chain strategy and operating model aligned with corporate, regional and brand priorities.
• Sponsor and facilitate the UK & Ireland integrated business planning process across demand, supply, latest estimates and commercial priorities.
• Balance demand and supply to maximise sales, revenue, customer service and profitability.
• Oversee logistics, distribution, fulfilment, returns and value-added services with regional teams and 3PL partners.
• Drive continuous improvement, transformation and technology initiatives to improve margins and speed to action.
• Develop capital, expense and headcount plans and coach a high-performing team.

This high impact role connects supply chain activity across brands, functions, regional teams and external partners to improve efficiency, speed to market, customer service and business performance.You will lead an integrated supply chain organisation supporting a dynamic consumer environment. Working with commercial, brand, finance, regional and global stakeholders, you will translate business strategy into execution plans that optimise cost, inventory, service and growth. You will also represent the UK and Ireland in regional and global supply chain forums.Role responsibilitiesLead the UK and Ireland supply chain strategy and operating model in alignment with corporate, regional and brand priorities.Build an integrated supply chain function that delivers value, removes unnecessary cost and strengthens collaboration.Sponsor and facilitate the UK and Ireland integrated business planning process, aligning demand planning, supply planning, latest estimates and commercial priorities.Balance demand and supply across the short term horizon to maximise sales, revenue, customer service and profitability.Partner with brands, commercial teams and finance to improve demand signals, inventory levels, forecast accuracy, supply attainment and service performance.Oversee logistics, distribution, fulfilment, returns and value added services, working closely with regional teams and the UK and Ireland third party logistics partner.Set clear service, cost, quality, ethics and compliance expectations for external partners.Drive disciplined inventory management, excess reduction and promotional reconciliation while maintaining availability and execution against marketing calendars.Lead supply chain collaboration with retailers and customers to improve end to end performance, on shelf availability and in market quality.Deliver continuous improvement, transformation, value realisation and technology initiatives that improve operating margins and speed to action.Develop capital, expense and headcount plans that support business priorities.Lead, coach and develop a high performing team of direct and indirect reports, creating an inclusive environment that encourages accountability and innovation.Build future capability and ensure the organisation is agile and ready to support product launches, brand integration and changing market demands.QualificationsProgressive senior experience leading a broad range of end to end supply chain activities in a fast paced and complex organisation.
