Qualifications

• Proven experience leading in supply chain within manufacturing or engineering.
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
• Strong understanding of supplier performance management, strategic sourcing, inventory management and working capital optimisation.
• Proven track record improving supplier cost, delivery and quality.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Results-focused with ability to manage KPIs and priorities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Experience with ERP systems and Excel for procurement analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Buyers to deliver supply chain strategy and processes.
• Translate strategic priorities into SMART objectives aligned with KPIs.
• Drive improvements in supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery and working capital.
• Build strong supplier and internal stakeholder relationships for continuity of supply.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and implement recovery plans.
• Resolve procurement issues using data-driven, quality-focused approaches.
• Communicate risks and recovery plans to key stakeholders.
• Manage performance through objective setting, reviews and development plans.
• Lead continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, resilience and compliance.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with policies, governance and ethical sourcing.
