Job summary

Empresaria UK Ltd in West Sussex is seeking a Supply Chain Team Leader to manage a team of Buyers and translate strategy into measurable results. The role is hybrid/flexible with a salary of £50,000-£55,000.

You will drive supplier performance and align supply chain activities with business and financial objectives. The ideal candidate will have proven leadership in supply chain or procurement within engineering/manufacturing, strong stakeholder management, and a data-driven approach to problem

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supply chain, procurement leadership in engineering/manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of supplier performance management and strategic sourcing.
• Experience managing suppliers across cost, quality and delivery.
• Commercial and financial awareness including inventory and working capital.
• Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Structured, analytical and data-driven problem solving.
• Experience managing competing priorities and delivering KPIs.
• Focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence.
• Good working knowledge of ERP systems and strong Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Buyers and translate strategy into operational results.
• Drive supplier performance across cost, quality, delivery and service.
• Set objectives and KPIs aligned to goals.
• Build strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Identify and manage supply chain risks with mitigation plans.
• Support continuity of supply for key programmes and requirements.
• Use data to identify issues, make decisions and drive improvement.
• Lead initiatives to improve efficiency, resilience and commercial performance.
• Support cost reduction, inventory optimisation and working capital improvements.
• Ensure governance and policies are followed in procurement activity.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
