Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Ltd seeks a Supply Chain Lead at Cross Hands to ensure materials, stock and packaging are available for production and customer needs. You will work closely with Production Planning, Procurement and Warehouse teams to maintain inventory and optimise material flow.

The role covers stock rotation, demand forecasting, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. Two permanent shifts offer different patterns; flexibility is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong inventory management and stock control skills.
• Experience coordinating raw materials and packaging to production schedules.
• FMCG/food manufacturing exposure is highly desirable.
• Ability to analyse stock trends and forecasts to optimise inventory.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate material requirements with Production Planning, Procurement and Warehouse.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels and stock rotation to minimise waste.
• Plan and place orders for raw materials and packaging per demand forecasts.
• Monitor material availability and address shortages to ensure production continuity.
• Analyse stock trends and variances to optimise inventory and efficiency.
• Align customer orders with forecasts to minimise shortages and service risks.
• Resolve day-to-day supply chain issues and communicate with stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement for inventory accuracy and operations.
