Job summary

Quest Employment Ltd. is seeking a Senior Supply Chain expert to lead a small team of planners and optimise inventory across multiple sites. The role focuses on building tools from scratch and driving continuous improvement through automation.

You will collaborate with commercial teams and suppliers, leverage technology to streamline processes, and travel weekly to London and the West Midlands in a very flexible working environment.

Qualifications

• Hands on experience in purchasing, supply chain or supply planning.

A SENIOR SUPPLY CHAIN opportunity in a HIGHLY FLEXIBLE working environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a well loved Direct to Consumer business as they scale their operations in the UK and abroad. This is a brand new position and requires a Supply Chain Expert who not only understands the operational side of the end-end supply chain, but also has proven experience building tools and driving continuous improvement projects.

Role responsibilities:

• Manage a small team of planners
• Work collaboratively with commercial teams and suppliers to drive optimal inventory across multiple sites
• Build tools from scratch and develop solutions to support scalability and drive continuous improvement. You'll leverage technology to automate and develop processes

Experience required

• Hands on experience in purchasing, supply chain or supply planning
• A strong understanding of what excellent supply chain processes look like within an FMCG or direct to consumer environment
• You'll have worked in a business that has experienced exponential growth, or you'll have worked in a large FMCG and had responsibilities of developing sophisticated supply chain processes from scratch
• Advanced level Excel and the desire to utilise AI to develop workflows
• Previous people management experienced preferred, but someone who has the motivation to lead a team will also be considered
• An entrepreneurial mindset with ability to work in an unstructured, ever changing environment

You will need to be available to travel to London and the West Midlands weekly, but the company offer a very flexible working environment.
