Job summary

The Foods Quality Development Manager position at People First Team Japan/ピープルファーストチームジャパン focuses on leading technical and quality management for UK private-labels and European teams, ensuring compliance and driving development from concept to launch.

You will lead customer quality reviews, audits and site visits, manage projects, and be the main contact for quality topics, reporting KPIs and policy changes while collaborating with Quality, Industrial, R&D and Commercial teams across the

Qualifications

• Educated to degree level in a food science/technology field.
• Experience in quality/development management, UK retail/private-label knowledge preferred.
• Strong analytical, organisational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with UK private-label customers' technical/quality management, manufacturing sites, commercial teams and European quality team to maintain private-label business and progress development from concept to launch.
• Lead customer quality review meetings, audits and initial site visits ensuring standards and practices required.
• Manage projects within each customer’s processes with critical paths and ensure all technical requirements are met.
• Be the key customer contact for all quality topics including policy compliance, development, renovation, packaging and product communication.
• Communicate and report on quality KPIs, complaint management, development projects, product specifications and policy changes.
• Continuously monitor product quality and consistency to maintain standards.
