B&Q is seeking a Supply Chain & Logistics Insights Analyst in the Southampton area to join our Analytics & Data Science team. You will turn data into insights that improve availability, stock flow and operational efficiency, partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable impact.

The role emphasizes translating complex data into actionable recommendations, using SQL with Python and/or R, and leveraging Databricks, Snowflake or BigQuery in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain or Logistics analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with large datasets.
• Proficiency in SQL; Python and/or R desirable.
• Experience in cloud data environments (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and recommendations.
• Strong stakeholder management across teams.

Responsibilities

• Use data to uncover insights driving better supply chain and logistics decisions.
• Translate complex datasets into clear stories for stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and analytics processes.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics and Commercial teams to understand challenges.
• Deliver deep-dive analyses highlighting risks and opportunities.
• Build relationships to support decision-making at all levels.
• Work with analysts and data scientists to deliver scalable analytical solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and data-driven thinking.
