Morrisons in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Supply Chain Specialist - Development to enhance supply chain processes and systems, delivering industry-leading availability for customers and driving sales and profit.

You will partner with our senior development leadership team, IT and wider business functions to deliver process improvements, support system changes and manage projects within time and budget. This role emphasizes continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• For this role, a comprehensive understanding of operational supply chain and its links to commercial, logistics, manufacturing and stores.
• Experience with project management tools and techniques.
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage others.
• Ability to analyse complex data and draw conclusions.
• Ability to translate business strategy into scoped projects with timelines.
• Background in operational supply chain (ideally FMCG).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and delivery of process and system improvements to boost availability while minimising stock and waste.
• Contribute to productivity improvements for operational colleagues.
• Provide systems and process support for supply chain colleagues to maximise sales and profitability.
• Recommend simplifications within a culture of continuous improvement.
• Deliver projects within timescales and budget, mitigating risks to minimise waste.
• Develop current and future state supply chain system requirements to meet objectives.
