Job summary
Morrisons is seeking an Online Commercial Specialist in Bradford to own online category range and drive sales, margins, and basket size. You’ll work under the Online Commercial Manager delivering category plans and optimizing on-site merchandising.
You’ll analyze data, manage promotions, and collaborate with supply chain to protect availability and minimise waste while ensuring GSCOP compliance and strong customer experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in retail category management or digital trading.
- Strong numerical and analytical capabilities for data-driven decisions.
- Understanding of digital merchandising and pricing strategies.
- Track record of driving sales, margin, and basket growth.
- Knowledge of supply chain basics and promotional mechanics.
Responsibilities
- Deliver Category Strategy with annual online plan to grow sales and margins.
- Oversee on-site merchandising, search, banners and features for navigation.
- Curate ranges and promotions, optimize SKUs and promotional plans.
- Build annual sales, volume and margin forecasts and monitor performance.
- Collaborate with Operations to manage stock and minimise waste.
- Ensure all pricing and promotions comply with brand standards and GSCOP.
- Gather store insights and feed digital trade planning with frontline feedback.
