Job Vacancy: Supply Chain Coordinator

Temporary - Minimum of 2 months

Pay: £14.76 per hour

Location: Birmingham

Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Reporting To: Supply Chain Manager

Are you a proactive, detail-oriented professional with a passion for operational excellence? We’re looking for a Supply Chain Coordinator to join our dynamic team and play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of our projects through effective supply chain and contractor management.

About the Role

As Supply Chain Coordinator, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our supply chain processes. Your responsibilities include onboarding and allocating contractors, collaborating with Project and Transport Managers, and ensuring timelines are met with proper resource management.

This is an office-based position offering a fast-paced environment, opportunities for cross-functional collaboration, and growth within a expanding business.

Key Responsibilities

1. Daily Operations: Manage supply chain activities and inventory requirements. Ensure timely procurement of materials when sold with contractor packages.
2. Contractor Management: Allocate workloads daily and onboard new contractors. Ensure contractor compliance with company policies and legal standards.
3. Project Coordination: Liaise with Project Managers to assess and fulfill labour requirements. Align supply chain operations with project timelines.
4. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with suppliers, contractors, and internal teams. Coordinate logistics with the Transport Manager.
5. Compliance & Documentation: Maintain accurate records, ensure regulatory compliance, and keep tracking systems and documents up to date.
6. Continuous Improvement: Identify efficiency opportunities and implement process enhancements. Monitor key performance indicators.
7. Business Support & Flexibility: Support other departments during busy periods. Provide transport allocation coverage during holidays and peak times. Learn transport systems to support seamlessly when required.
