Job summary

Select Appointments is seeking a skilled Supply Chain Coordinator to join our Norfolk team. The role centers on sourcing quotes, placing orders, and maintaining stock accuracy across the group’s international sites.

You will manage procurement, inventory, BOMs, and intercompany orders while supporting strategic projects under ISO 9001:2008 standards. The position offers varied responsibilities in a structured environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain quotes from approved suppliers and keep the ERP system running smoothly.
• Hunt down and onboard new suppliers, spotting relevance and opportunity for the business.
• Build inventory and BOM parts, keeping supply chain data complete and accurate.
• Process purchase orders with attention to customer promise dates, availability and stock levels.
• Process and convert intercompany purchase and sales orders across the group.
• Expedite purchase orders and escalate to the Supply Chain Manager when necessary.
• Address invoice queries and update purchase orders as needed.
• Evaluate reorder points and stock levels to maintain supply.
• Assist the Supply Chain Manager with strategic projects.

Fancy keeping a busy international supply chain running like clockwork? Our client, a well-established supplier of specialist aftermarket parts to the packaging machinery industry, is on the hunt for a sharp, organised Supply Chain Coordinator to join their growing Norfolk team.

As Supply Chain Coordinator, you'll be right at the heart of the action: sourcing quotes, placing purchase orders, and keeping stock levels spot on, all while working alongside colleagues across the group's international sites. This Supply Chain Coordinator role offers real variety, real ownership, and a genuine opportunity to shape how the supply chain operates, with plenty of scope to get stuck into strategic projects alongside the Supply Chain Manager.

As Supply Chain Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to:

• Obtain quotes from approved suppliers and keep the ERP system running like clockwork
• Hunt down and onboard new suppliers, spotting relevance and opportunity for the business
• Build inventory and BOM parts, keeping supply chain data complete and accurate
• Process purchase orders with an eye on customer promise dates, availability, and stock levels
• Process and convert intercompany purchase and sales orders across the group
• Expedite purchase orders, escalating to the Supply Chain Manager when necessary
• Get to the bottom of invoice queries and update purchase orders when necessary
• Evaluate and maintain reorder points and preferred stock levels
• Assist the Supply Chain Manager with exciting strategic projects
