Job summary

New Appointments Group is seeking a proactive individual to support our client’s purchasing and supply chain function. You will manage supplier relationships, raise and maintain purchase orders, and negotiate pricing to support stock management.

You will also contribute to new product development, planning and launches, and analyse market and product data to identify opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Background in purchasing is advantageous.
• Experience in a fast-paced industry.
• Ability to analyse key data.
• Experience with ERP systems.
• Ability to liaise with suppliers.
• Proficient with Word and Excel.

You will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, raising and maintaining purchase orders, negotiating and comparing pricing and supporting effective stock management.

You’ll play a key role in supporting new product development, planning and product launches, as well as analysing market, customer and product data to identify opportunities.

Experience and skills required:

• If you have a background in purchasing this would be highly advantageous
• Experience of working within a fast-paced industry

• Prior experience of working with ERP systems

• Proficient in using IT packages (including Microsoft Word and Excel)
