Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking a procurement planning assistant on-site in Doncaster. The role introduces you to both Planning and Procurement, giving exposure to how the business runs during peak periods and staff leave.

You will learn to manage stock flows, raise purchase orders, and work with multiple departments to keep production plans accurate and efficient. An apprenticeship pathway supports growth in this entry-level role.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Supply Chain Apprenticeship completed or in progress.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and work in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the flow of goods into Doncaster ensuring the factory has what it needs and not too much.
• Raising of purchase orders.
• Interacting with suppliers to manage stocks and delivery of goods.
• Understanding what material is needed to complete the production plan and where to purchase from.
• Updating systems to keep them accurate.
• Liaising with multiple departments ensuring the jobs are completed in time.
• Building a production plan.
• Ensuring plans are as efficient as possible whilst minimising waste.
• Allocating raw material to the factory.

Role Definition:

• This is a perfect opportunity to be introduced to Planning and Procurement Department. The role will give you exposure to both parts of the business. Learning all the key skills necessary to ensure they run as accurately, efficiently and smoothly as possible during busy periods and annual leave / absence
• Procurement key responsibilities:
