Job Description

If you are a Supply Chain Analyst professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Cumbernauld, Scotland location, you will analyse and improve business processes and tools to drive risk mitigation, inventory improvements, transaction elimination, and increased Supply Chain efficiency.

Responsibilities include:

• Lead Supply Chain strategic projects that improve key performance indicators
• Assist in developing related performance goals and objectives
• Design, track, and report on Supply Chain key performance indicators
• Collect and analyse data to identify and recommend new opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with IT Business Analysts and Business Intelligence teams to implement effective systems and ensure Supply Chain data needs are met
• Support evaluation and implementation of company standard tools and processes
• Lead or participate in business system and bolt-on system testing
• Manage reporting catalogues and develop new data extracts
• Coordinate and deliver department-specific training
• Develop and publish documentation on requirements, standards, procedures, and processes

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, or related fields
• Experience with Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems
• Understanding of Supply Chain concepts like Safety Stock, parts classification, plan for every part, etc.
• Knowledge of tools and techniques for reliable material flow and inventory reduction
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills
• Ability to communicate complex processes clearly and propose solutions proactively

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a business or numerical field
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
