Job summary

ANR-Probake is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to support the Planning and Procurement department. You will maintain stocks, process POs, and coordinate between sites and external warehouses ensuring documentation aligns with POs.

The role requires strong communication, organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure while meeting deadlines. Experience with audits and Microsoft Office suite is essential.

Qualifications

  • Fully proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent knowledge and expert user of SAGE 200.
  • Previous experience in a similar role.
  • Food Safety – Level 2 (Desirable).
  • Strong trouble-shooting and cost-conscious problem solving.
  • Excellent communication and influencing at all levels.
  • Experience with external audits.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain stock levels across manufacturing sites and external warehouses.
  • Raise purchase orders on the system.
  • Organise stock transfers in Sage between sites and warehouses.
  • Booking in and out of stock on the system and supporting warehouse tasks.
  • Inputting production figures in Sage when covering departments.
  • Liaise with Warehouse Operatives about delivery notes and POs.
  • Assist in stock takes as required.
  • Communicate production plan changes to stakeholders for efficient operations.
  • Daily administration tasks including filing production paperwork.
  • Provide cover within the department as required.
  • Knowledge share and partner to enable smooth operations of Planning and Procurement.

Job description

Reporting directly to the Operations Director, the Supply Chain Administrator will be required to support the Supply Chain department in completing administrative tasks.

Effective communication is essential for the success of the role, you will need to be able to communicate at all levels both with internal and external stakeholders and build strong working relationships. Working as part of the Planning and Procurement Department, the Supply Chain Administrator is seen as the main point of contact for administrative duties, along with providing cover for all relevant roles within the department.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintaining the stock levels across manufacturing sites and external warehouses.
  • Raising of purchase orders on the system.
  • Arranging and organise stock transfers on Sage from external warehouses and between sites. Including any relevant paperwork to support this transaction.
  • Booking in and out of stock on the system and providing support for warehouse, along with spot checks for accuracy.
  • Inputting in sage the previous day’s production figures when covering departments.
  • Liaise with the Warehouse Operatives making sure delivery notes are consistent with raised purchase orders.
  • Assisting in stock takes as and when required.
  • Ensure effective communication to internal and external stakeholders of any changes to the production plan to ensure the efficient operation of production.
  • Daily administration tasks withing supply chain, including filing all daily production paperwork and documents.
  • Provide cover within the department as required.
  • To knowledge share and work in partnership to enable the smooth operation of the Planning and Procurement department.
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications
  • Fully proficient user of Microsoft Office particularly in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • Excellent knowledge and advocate user of SAGE 200.
  • Previous experience within a similar role is desirable
  • Food Safety – Level 2 – Desirable.
  • Excellent trouble-shooter with the ability to resolve problems effectively, and within a cost-effective manner / within budget.
  • Excellent communication skills with demonstrable record of influencing at all levels within an organisation.
  • Knowledge and experience of participating in external audits.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills; both written and verbal.
  • Well organised and able to manage own workload.
  • Ability to work to deadlines.
  • Work well under pressure.
  • Excellent numeracy and literacy skills.
  • Professional approach to work, team orientated with good organisational and motivational skills.
  • Knowledge and experience in partaking in external audits.
  • Effective team player.
