Art Teacher Supply Opportunities in Stoke-on-Trent & Newcastle-under-Lyme

Academics is currently seeking passionate and experienced Art Teachers to work in our client secondary schools and academies. Working as a supply teacher allows you to explore various schools before applying for long-term or permanent positions. It also provides an excellent opportunity to enhance your classroom experience for your CV.

Supply roles can be especially beneficial for recently qualified teachers (EFTs), potentially leading to more permanent roles within our partner schools.

Requirements for Art Teachers applying for supply roles:

1. Hold the relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or BA Hons) with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
2. Have strong classroom management skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
3. Deliver engaging Art lessons using your own initiative, with good knowledge of the national curriculum.
4. Provide evidence of experience working with students in Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 through references.
5. Possess a current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new Enhanced DBS through us (cost applicable).

Your daily rate will depend on your experience, qualifications, the length of the supply assignment, and the current client rates.
