Job summary

Markerstudy Insurance Services Limited, a UK-based MGA, seeks a Supplier Relationships Manager for its facilities and property portfolio. The role is largely remote with monthly Manchester office visits and occasional supplier travel. You will manage key suppliers, monitor performance against SLAs, and support MISL regulatory reporting.

You will analyse MI to improve supplier performance, coordinate health & safety, and lead risk assessments with internal teams and contractors.

Qualifications

• Supplier Relationship management experience required.
• Previous Property Portfolio experience advantageous.
• Insurance/Claims background advantageous.
• Ability to analyse and interpret MI from multiple sources.
• Analytical and pragmatic approach to supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee outsource partner delivery, risk management and documentation.
• Prepare and review risk assessments and COSHH assessments.
• Develop Health & Safety policies and RAMS where needed.
• Coordinate DSE assessments and first aid provisions across sites.
• Monitor incidents, investigations, and reporting of accidents.
• Arrange annual Health & Safety training, first aid and fire warden duties.
• Conduct site inspections, audits and compliance monitoring.
• Vet and onboard contractors, ensuring RAMS and permits are in place.

Supplier Relationships Manager – Facilities/Property Portfolio

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Supplier Relationships Manager to join our growing and exciting business! This is a largely remote opportunity, but will involve going to our Manchester office ideally once a month and the occasional travel to suppliers.

Job Purpose

To oversee the management of key agreed suppliers that form part of the Supply Chain, ensuring service delivery against contracted terms, SLA’s and monthly MI and regulatory reporting. To work closely with the Head of Supply Chain in a cohesive manner to support other MISL departments in liaison of supply chain fulfilment.

To act as the key point of contact between suppliers and internal departments for all Property portfolio and other supply chain related matters.

Analyse and act on MI provided internally or from our supply chain to improve supplier performance, by issuing action plans, with timescales and required improvement plans.

Key Responsibilities

• Management of Outsource Partner to ensure delivery and oversight of:
  • Risk Management & Documentation
  • Preparation and review of Risk Assessments and COSHH assessments
  • Creating bespoke risk assessments upon requests (e.g. for events)
  • Development and maintenance of Health & Safety policies and procedures
  • DSE (Display Screen Equipment)
  • Management of DSE assessments
  • Provision and ordering of equipment, subject to cost approval
• Incident Management
  • Accidents and incidents are monitored, recorded, and supported through investigation where required
• Training & Compliance
  • Liaison with the MSG Talent and development department to ensure annual Health & Safety training is completed
  • Arranging and booking first aid training courses
  • Coordination of First Aiders and Fire Wardens
  • Monitoring, recording and tracking al first aiders and fire wardens to ensure all sites have enough
  • Replenishing of first aid stock
• Monitoring, Audits & Assessments
  • Site inspections, audits, and compliance monitoring
  • Annual Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety assessments
• Contractor Management
  • All contractors are managed by Presence & Co. and undergo regular checks to ensure documentation remains valid
  • New contractors are subject to a vetting process and must sign an agreement before approval for use
  • Management of maintenance activities, ensuring suitable RAMS, scope of works, and permits are in place prior to work commencing
• Facilities Interface
  • The Facilities team manage the buildings, including arranging contractor visits, audits, and statutory checks (E.G fire extinguishers, servicing for fire alarms and so on..) to ensure compliance
• Systems & Communication
  • Ongoing management and updating of the Health & Safety page of the MSG intranet, ensuring all documentation and guidance is accessible
  • Provision of Health & Safety signage and general advice across sites

Essential Skills

• Supplier Relationship management experience required
• Previous Property Portfolio experience would be advantageous
• Insurance/Claims background would be advantageous
• Ability to analyse and interpret MI from both MI and internal department
