This role is ideal for someone passionate about supplier relationship management, with a proven track record of delivering results in a collaborative environment. It involves balancing stakeholder collaboration, risk management, negotiation, process improvement, and fostering partnerships with our partners to meet contractual commitments and enhance customer outcomes.

Our relationships span Aviva products, and experience in Life and Pensions, Equity Release & Annuity, or wider Financial Services is valuable.

About the role:

We seek experienced professionals for key roles within our Outsourcing team, managing strategic partners across Business Process Outsourcing, IT Outsourcing, Document Services, and Professional Services. The Relationship Manager (RM) will oversee these partnerships, ensuring mutual success by:

• Building strong, collaborative relationships to achieve shared goals.
• Driving operational excellence through process review and refinement.
• Managing service levels and resolving challenges with a relationship-first approach.
• Acting as a trusted advisor within Aviva to ensure partner support aligns with customer needs.

This position requires technical expertise coupled with a relationship-focused approach to deliver value and innovation.

Skills and experience:

• Industry background: Experience in Life and Pensions, Equity Release & Annuity, or Financial Services. Professional qualifications like CIPS, IACCM are preferred.
• Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills to foster trust and collaboration with partners and stakeholders.
• Risk & Compliance: Ability to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Analytical Skills: Data interpretation, trend analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
• Contract Management: Experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts to maximize value.
• Commercial Awareness: Understanding of financial principles and delivering cost efficiencies.

• Salary: £40,000 - £60,000, depending on experience and location.
